Celebrations at Deanes at Queens!

We warned you to watch this space and, sure enough, Head Chef at Deanes at Queens Chris Fearon powered his way through to the Great British Menu Banquet in London.  Chris’s starter Season ‘n’ Shake Coronation Chicken was unanimously voted a winner by the BBC competition judges as the best starter in the UK for the ultimate street party.  And as Chris proudly paraded his stunning creation through Leadenhall Market in London and the enthusiastic reception he received simply underlined his amazing achievement against his fellow competitors, among them some of the UK’s top chefs!

And we intend to share that celebration back home at Deanes at Queens with a Great British Menu Banquet specially prepared by Chris.  The banquet will be on Tuesday June 21st with a bubbly reception kicking off the evening at 7pm.  Book early to avoid disappointment for what promises to be an awesome evening!

In another nod to the stringent times in which we live our flagship restaurant Deanes Restaurant on Howard Street is offering a recession busting menu at lunch time! For just £6.50 you can sample the delights of Deanes 6 days a week at lunchtime. An offer surely not to be missed!

Spotted this month no less than Royalty in the form of Prince Seeiso Boring Seeiso of Lesotho gracing the Mencap event in the Circle at Deanes in Howard Street.  And music royalty graced The Circle too with Chris de Burgh and his beautiful wife Diane hosting a private dinner party after his concert at the Waterfront Hall.  Meanwhile in Deanes Deli,Eurovision legend Johnny Logan wowing his fellow diners as he did the rest of the world all those years ago!
