Greetings all, we're back after a week off for our holidays! And the summer season has got off to a sizzling start at Deanes Deli with the opening of our trendy new Tapas Bar in the Deli Vin Cafe on Bedford Street!
While its business as usual in the busy Cafe by day, it transforms into a candlelit bar by night, where small dishes can be shared by friends and washed down with a cool beer or a glass of wine. The tempting tapas on offer include Crab and Prawn Spaghetti, Pork Wonton, Lamb Tagine and Tomato and Mozzarella ... to name but a few. And for afters how about Pedro Ximenez Sherry with Vanilla Ice Cream ... simply irresistible!
Then Friday night in the Tapas Bar gets the weekend off to a great start with live music from 5pm until late. The full Tapas menu can be viewed on our website.
Spotted in Deanes Deli home grown acting superstar James Nesbitt, charming as ever! Comedian Tommy Tiernan also chose to dine in the Deli during his stint at the Ulster Hall. In Deanes Gastro Club in Howard Street Harry Potter Casting Director Susie Parriss, the life and soul of a birthday party and possibly checking out the local talent for her next project now that we’ve seen the last of Harry Potter! Deanes Seafood Bar has been a magnet for stars this month ... David Friedman and Amanda Peet stars of Game of Thrones have become regular diners. Lorraine Chase, Shirley Anne Field, Anita Harris and Anne Charleston fondly known as Madge in Neighbours dined with Fraser Hines, Chris Benny and Tom Owen from Last of the Summer Wine.
