DEANES GROUP NEWS DECEMBER

Posted: 12/12/2011

With the buzz of the MTV weekend still ringing around the city the Christmas spirit has kicked in too, making Belfast the city to be in for the festive season.

Here at Deanes we are well under way with the party season with all our restaurants offering special Christmas menus alongside our renowned A La Carte offering.  But if the thought of ten turkey dinners between now and Christmas leaves you less than salivating then we have the mouth-watering alternatives! At Deanes on Howard Street for example there’s line caught bass, caramelised red curry, scallion beans & mushroom. Deanes Deli tempts your taste buds with braised beef cheek, horseradish & red wine while at Deanes at Queens if you pass on the turkey you can always savour rigatoni of goats cheese, roast red onions, spinach & poached pear!

And if all that lingering over long lunches or enjoying Christmas dinners is eating up your shopping time we have the solution . . . .  a Deanes Gift Voucher which can be tailored to any price and can be used in any of our restaurants . . . . quite simply the perfect Christmas present!

And if you want to ring in the New Year in style we are now taking bookings at all our restaurants, with the added ingredient of live music in Deanes Deli!

While our lips are sealed about the VIP’s who graced our restaurants during the MTV weekend there has been no shortage of celebs in town since then.  Spotted in Deanes Seafood Bar, David Momoa of Conan the Barbarian fame, David Beneoff star of The Kite Runner and both now working on Game of ThronesIn Deanes Deli the evergreen Phil Coulter and his team enjoyed dinner before their stellar performance at the Ulster Hall while at Deanes at Queens local celeb David Meade of the amazing David Meade Project on BBC loved his Sunday lunch!!
